Check Out New Norton High Football Schedule

There will be a new look to the Norton High football schedule this year, including two games with Thanksgiving Day rivalry Bellingham and a new playoff system.
The Lancers are in Division 4 South with Apponequet, Bishop Stang, Canton, Coyle-Cassidy, Dedham, Dennis-Yarmouth, Foxborough, Hanover, Holliston, Medway, Middleboro, Randolph, Scituate, Wareham and Westwood.

The regular season will end in October for the teams, who qualify for the playoffs in November. Teams, who don't make the playoffs, will have additional games scheduled for the month.

Thanksgiving opponents are staying the game, but they won't affect playoff standings and played for the state Super Bowls are held. Norton will play Bellingham twice, Oct. 11 at Bellingham in a 7 p.m. game and home on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m.

Norton will open up the season with two Division 4 games, at Scituate, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. before returning home to play Middleboro in a 7 p.m. game on Sept. 20. After that, it will be the Tri-Valley League opponents, Sept. 27 at Medway, 7 p.m., Oct. 4. at Dover-Sherborn, 7 p.m., Oct. 11 at Bellingham, 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Ashland, 7 p.m., Oct. 25 Millis-Hopedale, 7 p.m.
