    The Norton American 12-year-old all-star team lost 4-1 to Chelmsford in its first game at the Cal Ripken state tournament on Saturday afternoon in Chelmsford.

    That was a great job by Tim to come down to Norton on Saturday and watch the Dedham 10-year-old all-star team get two must wins and qualify for states.

    Unfortunately, things did not go as well for the 10-year-old all-star team, which lost two games to Dedham in the District 4 finals on Saturday on Field B.

    The Norton American 12-year-old all-star team won the District 4 crown with a 10-6 victory over Stoughton on Saturday on Field A at the Burchill Complex.

    I will have coverage of both teams, including photos, hopefully over the next few days on Patch.

    Unfortunately, things didn't go as well for the Norton 10-year-old all-star team who lost twice to Dedham on Saturday in the District 4 finals at Burchill.

    The Norton American 12-year-old all-star team won the District 4 championship with a 10-6 win over Stoughton on Saturday afternoon at the Lee Burchill Complex.

    The Norton American Legion baseball game against New Bedford has been moved to the middle school, but will still be played at 11 a.m.
