Keith Carreiro is an elected community leader, teacher, and academic counselor with a distinguished record of service in education. Keith Carreiro has helped reach an unprecedented level of outreach and consensus building with Swansea town officials and other educational institutions, such as Bristol Community College, in order to achieve the educational mission of the Swansea School District. He continues to serve Swansea and our surrounding communities as an advocate for educational excellence by reaching out to local and state congressional representatives and state agencies. Keith teaches at the BCC Attleboro Learning Center as an adjunct faculty member, where he teaches courses in English, film, the humanities and philosophy. He is also a Visiting Lecturer in English at Bridgewater State University. He is married to Carolyn Ann Carreiro. The Carreiros are owned by one cat, two Maltese and one golden retriever.
