Erin Re studied English with a writing concentration at Bridgewater State University, where she also minored in Psychology. She spent the past 6 years working in the psychology field with drug addicts and individuals with severe psychological disorders. Although this might seem like a far cry from writing and journalism, her true passion, Erin feels this experience greatly enhanced her understanding of people and interviewing skills. Erin has loved her time contributing to several online news sources, especially Patch, and looks forward to meeting new people in the community in the coming months. In her spare time Erin loves spending time with her family, writing fiction, short stories and long, playing and watching sports, especially basketball, football, and hockey, as well as photography and painting. She is involved with local dog rescue organizations, and takes in foster dogs... when she can.
