Norton to Get New Italian Restaurant Option
Sabatino's Trattoria to occupy vacant building on W. Main Street.
*UPDATE* At the Norton Founder's Day Picnic, workers at Sabatino's Trattoria said that the Italian restaurant is scheduled to open in a month. Lately several Norton Patch readers have asked what exactly is going into the vacant building next to High Tech Automotive and Hess. The answer is Sabatino's Trattoria, an Italian restaurant co-owned by mother and daughter duo Siorentina and Melinda Ferrera. There a was a permit pulled for renovations to the building at 115 W. Main St. in September 2010. According to building inspector Scott Barbato, the rough frame has passed inspection allowing the wall board to be installed, and now work is just months away from being finished.
