Norton Swimmers Contribute to Taunton Tiger Sharks Second Place Win
The team went 8-1 in dual meet competitions for the season.
Norton was well represented this past weekend as the Taunton Tiger Sharks Swim Team from the Boys & Girls Club of Taunton captured second place in the nine-team Rhode Island Massachusetts Conference Championship Meet. This followed an impressive 8-1 record in dual meet competitions for the 2011-12 season. Tiger Sharks swimmers performed well throughout the two-day meet, with the team capturing eight individual championships, three relay championships and 72 personal records. The Tiger Sharks had two individual double-winners, one of which was Quinn McAlear, 12, of Norton.
