Norton High School Parent Advisory Board to Talk Drugs

Meeting to be held Wednesday, Jan. 18.

Norton High School Parent Advisory Board will hold a discussion about new age drugs lead by Marilyn Edge, director of the Alcohol and Tobacco Prevention Team. The meeting will be held at the Norton High School auditorium 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18. Edge has the most current information on new tobacco and alcohol products that are on the market and available at some convenience stores.  She is also able to educate parents with regard to new "bath salts" and "designer Internet drugs” that have been featured on the Dr. Oz Show and various news broadcasts.   “The problem with them is because they do not have to be purchased from a drug dealer, some kids think they are safe.
