Irene Davey Irene Davey, 104, of Attleboro died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2012. She was the oldest veteran in Massachusetts. Davey, who served in the U.S. Army at Fort Devens during World War II, received an honorary promotion to sergeant major earlier this year. For the full obituary click here. Mark Switzer Mark D. Switzer, 46, of Norton, formerly of Easton, died unexpectedly Nov. 19, 2012, at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I. Obituary: Mark D. Switzer

Mark D. Switzer, 46, of Norton, formerly of Easton, died unexpectedly Nov. 19, 2012, at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I. He was the husband of Maura A. (Soares) Switzer. Born in Brockton, Mr. Switzer was raised and educated in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton. He also was a graduate of Bridgewater State College, Class of 1989. He was a longtime resident of Norton. He worked as the food service director for Easton Lincoln Nursing Home in Easton for several years and also worked at Fridays and Friendly's in Mansfield. Primarily, he worked as a stay at home father with his children. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Norton. He could always be counted on for a helping hand or a spirited …
