Kids Sell Lemonade for a Good Cause
Families in Attleboro and neighboring communities plan to buy lemonade in memory of Leah Fernandes, who lost her battle with cancer.
For weeks, four local families have been working together to create a lemonade stand that would benefit Leah Fernandes, 5, of Attleboro, who was battling Medulloblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer. Fernandes lost her battle with the deadly disease Tuesday, July 26 and now the families are even more determined to sell as much lemonade as possible to donate to Children's Hospital Boston and the Fernandes family in their daughter's memory.
