Norton home sales fall from February 2010 totals.
Norton saw its home sales fall off during the month of February, according to data released this week. The data, compiled by real estate information firm The Warren Group, had home sales falling from six in February 2010 to three in February 2011. That drop represents a 50 percent decline. For the year to date, Norton home sales fell from 10 to nine. Massachusetts also saw a home-sales decline, undergoing a drop of 15.7 percent. According to The Warren Group, the 1,746 homes sold figure in February 2011 is the lowest total since they began tracking data in 1987.
