Fifth Grade Girls Basketball Wins Fall Shootout
Team to begin season Dec. 4.
The Norton 5th Grade Girls Division 1 Metro West Basketball Team recently won the Pre-Season Braintree Fall Shootout Tournament. The Girls beat their Metro West rivals Newton in the Championship game 29-20 after wins vs. Hanover (31-14), Weymouth (41-2) & Norwell (29-1). The Girls will close out their pre-season schedule Thanksgiving weekend (Friday and Saturday) at Stonehill College at the Turkey Classic and begin their season Dec. 4 Coaches are John Conroy, Eric Johnson and Chris John.
