Nick Rossi is playing at the Tavern in Wrentham at 7 p.m. to close. Join the Tavern as he plays covers of all kinds, simulating every instrument, from drums to sax, violen to sitar and more. There will be Bingo at St. Mary's Church in Norton at 6:45 p.m. The Jamie Fund is hosting their Fourth Annual Jamie Fund 5K race/walk. There is also a free 1/4 mile fun run for kids! The event benefits the iCARE disability awareness program that is part of the curriculum in Mansfield and other MA towns. There will be a Multi family yard sale at 8 a.m. at 30 Carpenter St, Foxboro. Norton Man Cited for Leaving Scene of Route 24 Fatal Massachusetts State Police have issued a citation to the man who was allegedly operating the vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian on Route 24 northbound in Randolph early Sunday morning, July 29 (around 1:15 a.m.). Shane Wilson, 20, of Norton was issued a citation with a single charge of leaving the scene after causing personal injury resulting in death, David Traub, spokesman for Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey, said in a press release. 29-year-old Adam T. Trudeau of Needham was said to have been standing in the roadway on the northbound side of Route 24 when he was struck by Wilson's vehicle. An Acton and a New York resident died at the Identity Festival at Comcast Center in Mansfield Thursday night.
Mansfield Police have confirmed two men died on Thursday while at the Identity Festival at the Comcast Center. The two, 19-year-old Connor Brandon of Acton and 27-year-old Dominic Impelizzieri of 266 Roxford Road North, Syracuse, N.Y., reportedly died after taking drugs at the concert. Police said in a statement that Brandon was reported dead on Friday morning at the Boston Medical Center from the effects of several illegal drugs and alcohol found in his system. Impelizzieri also had several illegal drugs and alcohol in his system. He had been resuscitated by emergency medical personnel at the concert, but later succumbed in the morning at Rhode Island Hospital. Mansfield Police said they will continue to actively investigate the issue. …

Kiss Concert, Wheaton commencement, Reach the Beach Relay and youth baseball and softball games all taking place.
It's going to be busy in town this Saturday with the Reach the Beach Relay, Wheaton commencement ceremony, a concert at Comcast and youth baseball. Reach the Beach will run through Norton from approximately 2:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Runners will come into town from Easton's Bay Road and cross onto Route 123. The first checkpoint in town is at St. Mary's Church. They will then make their way down Power Street then S. Worcester Street until they reach Sysco. From there they will head into Taunton. The Wheaton College commencement ceremony will begin 10 a.m. If you are attending this, the graduation will take place on the campus green, also known as "The Dimple."
