Trinity Defeats Wheaton Women's Swimming And Diving

The Wheaton College women's swimming and diving team fell to Trinity College, 160-74, on Saturday afternoon at the Trinity Natatorium. Senior Caroline Isaacs (San Jose, Calif./Archbishop Mitty) turned in the top performance for the Lyons on the afternoon winning the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:20.63 ahead of freshman teammate Ceara Bowman (Centerville, Mass./Portsmouth Abbey School) who placed second (11:43.20). Isaacs also placed second overall in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:35.79. Bowman came in second overall in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:40.87 and senior Julia Kusiak Carey (Shawmut, Maine/Lawrence) placed fourth in the event (5:43.15).
