Norton Youths Go Caroling, Raise Money for Jimmy Fund
Eight kids raise $200 for charity to date.
Norton youths spread some holiday cheer while simultaneously raising money for the Jimmy Fund this past weekend. Alex and Jenna Clark, Ashlyn Hines, Rachael Sheridan, Brian and Danielle Sullivan and Campbell and Cooper Smith went Christmas Caroling in the Estates at Norton off Barrows Street and began receiving money from residents. The children, on their own, decided to donate the money to the Jimmy Fund. When they told residents they were donating money to the charity, more residents donated. The carolers, who range in age from 8 to 12 years old, have also decided to continue the effort and raise even more money. “To date, they have raised over $200 but have not finished our entire neighborhood,” said Kathleen Sheridan, Rachael’s mother…
