Norton Youth Helps Raise Money for Clinkscales Family
Over $200 collected to help Clinkscales recover from house fire.
About a month after a fire broke out on the second floor of their 39 Evergreen Road home, the Clinkscales family is still recovering. But thanks to a few generous people like 11-year-old Nicholas Pucino, they are about $200 closer to getting back on their feet. A fifth grader at Henry A. Yelle Elementary, Nicholas’ bus drives by the home every day. When he found out about the fire, he thought it would be a good idea to have a fundraiser at the school to help the family out. Principal Lisa Farrell agreed, and brought the idea before the Helping Hands Committee who decided to do a Hat Day.
