Among the 17 approved projects there are seven manufacturing companies and six projects located in Gateway Cities. Voters Approve Solmonese Roof, TIF, Reject Pheeny's Island Purchase

Island purchase outvoted 106-108.

With over 200 Norton residents present at the annual Town Meeting, voters approved funds for the J. C. AN INSIDE LOOK

Message To Taunton: Knock It Off!

City has to be kidding with latest comments about Norton traffic.

Taunton has some complaints about its neighbor to the north. As someone originally from the Silver City, but a resident of Norton since the age of 2, I’d like to say something to the city of my birth: You have GOT to be kidding! City officials are concerned about traffic from new Norton businesses planning to locate in the Norton Commerce Center near the Taunton line. As someone who grew up in Taunton it is amusing to read about the deteriorating road conditions that our new business's might cause, because I remember Taunton roads crumbling throughout the city for many years. My family has suffered a flat, dented rim or bad alignment more than once! I have worked in the Ind. Park for three years and have been avoiding potholes while traveling through for much …   more ›
