Norton Public Schools Seeks Veterans for Diplomas

Norton Public Schools to award honorary diplomas to veterans who left to join the armed forces during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War.

If you left school to serve in World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War, the Norton Public Schools wants YOU! School officials are seeking students who left Norton High School to serve in the armed forces and never returned to get their diplomas. “This is the Norton Public Schools way of thanking our veterans for protecting and defending us and for making our country a better place,” superintendent Dr. Patricia Ansay said. Each year, the Norton Public Schools intends to award honorary diplomas to veterans who left Norton High School to join the armed forces during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War.
