New Reverend Hired to Revitalize Unitarian Church

Doors to church closed until greater mass accumulated.

“When was the last time you were in the [Unitarian] church?” asked Reverend Christana McKnight to selectmen during Thursday’s meeting. With the exception of chairman Robert Kimball’s answer of Dec. 31 during the town’s First Night festivities, the room was fairly quiet. And lately, that silence has permeated throughout the church. Unitarian Church of Norton, located at the intersections of Routes 140 and 123 closed their doors recently in response to a decline in membership.
