Representatives Jay Barrows (R-Mansfield) and Steven S. Howitt (R-Seekonk) were sworn in to their second term of service to Norton at inauguration ceremonies held at the State House on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. Howitt also represents Rehoboth, Seekonk and Swansea while Barrows represents Mansfield and Foxborough in addition to Norton. Howitt and Barrows were joined by their colleagues in the House of Representatives as Governor Deval Patrick administered the oath of office for the 188th Great and General Court. “It’s an honor and privilege to continue to represent the people of the 4th Bristol District," Howitt said. State Representatives Jay Barrows (R-Mansfield), Stephen Howitt (R-Seekonk) and Betty Poirier (R-Attleboro) - members of the Small Business Caucus - are reminding local business owners and shoppers that as of 2011 the first weekend after Thanksgiving has been declared Small Business Weekend in Massachusetts. Barrows, Howitt and Poirier were pleased to co-sponsor the House Resolution establishing the Small Business Weekend.
