Ronald E. Peacock Sr., 76, of Summerfield, Fla., formerly of Norton, died on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at the Villages Regional Hospital in Lady Lake, Fla.
Ronald E. Peacock Sr., 76, of Summerfield, Fla., formerly of Norton, died on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at the Villages Regional Hospital in Lady Lake, Fla. Born in Duxbury Jan. 11, 1936, he was son to the late Howard Leon & Evelyn Mary (Wiltshire) Peacock and step-son to the late Grace (Mooney) Peacock. Ronnie grew up and was educated in South Boston. He served in the United States Army as Corporal Regular in the 25th Division and is a veteran of the Korean War. He married Katherine M. Brady and they raised four children in their long time residence in Norton. Ronnie became a Boston Police Officer and was later promoted to Detective.
