It is now sunday at 10:30 am. Our roads are not plowed and the roads that are are not in very good shape. I think a plow only went down Resevior one time. This is not acceptable. Everyone in Norton knows that property taxes went up about 300.00 to 700.00 per year, so where did the money go; sure not to the plowing department. Hurricane Sandy Closes Several Norton Roads

National Grid, Highway Department to clear the way.

Several roads in Norton have been closed off due to downed wires and branches, though they will be worked on overnight. "National Grid is currently working on Shelly Road and should have that open shortly, then moving on," said Norton Police Lieutenant Todd Jackson. "Several other roads were closed throughout the day due to trees and lines being down. All roads that were closed due to downed trees were opened within a short time due to quick responses by the Norton Highway Department."
