Raymond F. Bedard, 86, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy J.(Goyea) Bedard who died March 7, 2009. Mr. and Mrs. Bedard were wed Feb. 28, 1948. Born in Fall River March 7, 1926, he was son of the late Adelard and Catherine (Fitzgerald) Bedard. Ray spent his early childhood living in Boston. At age 10, his family moved to Foxborough where he continued growing up and was a graduate of Foxboro High School. During WWII, he served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He later graduated from Northeastern University. Prior to retiring, Mr. Bedard was employed for 40 years at the Foxboro Co. Throughout his career he worked at both plants in Foxborough and …
