You Asked: When Will the Town Parking Ban End?

Driving ban keeps accidents to a minimum.

Following the blizzard that dumped around 3 feet of snow in Norton this weekend, residents asked Norton Patch when the parking ban will be lifted. The answer - Not today. Norton Police Lieutenant Todd Jackson said the parking ban will remains in effect at least through Monday.  They will reevaluate tomorrow. Violators will be towed. Regarding accidents, a few vehicles went off the road on Friday afternoon, but Saturday was incident-free.  On Sunday, they responded to one minor accident and one vehicle off the road.  No major injuries were noted. “Residents did an excellent job of keeping off the roads and respecting the driving ban issued by the Governor,” Jackson said.
