Norton's Weather: Warmer Temperatures Return Wednesday

A look at Norton's week of weather ahead.

After chilly days Monday and Tuesday, WHDH's Jeremy Reiner said we're likely to see some warmer temperatures come mid-week. "By midweek that sunshine returns and instead of an east wind from the ice cube (also known as the ocean) the wind direction will be from the southwest giving temps a nice boost by afternoon," he said on his weather blog. "In fact, most towns will be near 70 by afternoon. Thursday offers the risk of a few scattered showers but we will stay mild with afternoon highs still expected to reach the 60s despite more clouds." Tuesday-A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 5pm. Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 90. West wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40-percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth …
