Norton High Wrestlers Beat Newton North and Plymouth North

The Norton High wrestlers have much to be proud of having beaten Newton North 46-22 and Plymouth North 46-18 before falling to North Attleboro 39-36 in a challenging quad meetSaturday. This was the Lancers first-ever victory over the Newton North Tigers and sweet revenge for last year's loss to the Plymouth North Eagles. Norton went all out against a strong North Attleboro team and held a 36-33 lead after the wrestling ended but gave the Rocketeers the win on a forfeit in the final match. Norton got off to a great start on the day against Newton North winning 8 of 11 matches wrestled with pins by sophomores Ahrayah Saintius and Mike Travers and seniors John Norton and Matt Pelletier.
