Norton Starting Cleanup Day Preperations
The Keep Norton Beautiful Task Force is preparing for this year's cleanup.
Members of the Keep Norton Beautiful Committee of the Norton Task Force came to the Norton Board of Selectmen last week to get the board’s support for the 2013 Great Norton Cleanup. “Thank you for the support you gave us last year it was a big success,” said member Rachel Anderson. “We hope that this can happen again.” Last year the group had over 400 volunteers and cleaned up over 40 miles of Norton. “We’re in the process of forming a committee to plan for it,” said committee member Brittney Aliteto. Local groups have already started showing their support, including Wheaton, Norton Public Schools, the YMCA and the Police Department. “Any donations are appreciated,” said Anderson. “We’re providing t-shirts again…They’re very fashionable.” …
