Taking One for the Team

Brandon Morabito meets sixth round New England Patriots draft pick Nate Ebner after being booed at Radio City Hall.

If calling out the 197th sixth round New England Patriots draft pick at Radio City Music Hall wasn’t enough, 10-year-old Brandon Morabito can add meeting rookie Nate Ebner to his list of great moments. This past April, Brandon announced the Patriots draft pick and was booed by the New York City crowd. Instead of taking the negative reception to heart, Brandon responded with a smile and yelled the pick even louder. As a result, Brandon, his brother, mother and father were invited as special guests at the Patriots training camp. “Brandon had an amazing day,” said his father, Mark Morabito. “We sat in the VIP tent and were allowed on the field for the last few minutes of practice.” Brandon and his brother Ryan had photos taken with punter …

Norton Youth Welcomes Nate Ebner to the Patriots

Rookie chosen in sixth round of the NFL draft.

Norton youth Brandon Morabito got the chance of a lifetime this weekend, as he was able to select Ohio State defensive back Nate Ebner with the 197th pick in the sixth round of the NFL draft. Norton Youth to Announce Patriots Draft Pick

Brandon Morabito wins chance to mingle with New England Patriots at Radio City Music Hall.

Brandon Morabito will have an important job this Saturday. The 10-year-old will be announcing the New England Patriots fourth round draft selection. Brandon’s father, Mark, has been a New England Patriots season ticket holder for 20 years. The father and son duo recently attended an exclusive Patriots Draft Preview where all attendees were entered into a drawing for a chance to go to the NFL Draft. As luck would have it, Brandon was chosen to take the trip to Radio City Music Hall this weekend, sit with the team and announce the Patriots fourth round selection live from the podium Saturday. If that wasn’t enough, Brandon and approximately 80 other fans will have an intimate breakfast with the team and commissioner Roger Goodell. “Brandon …
