Passengers transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
At approximately 4 p.m. Monday, there were reports of a three-car crash in front of Mansfield Bank at 225 W. Main St., Norton. Three passengers were transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with injuries. Two were transported by Norton Fire Department and one from Mansfield Fire Department. Despite some rumors circulating on Facebook saying otherwise, Medflight was not involved. While the accident did cause a traffic jam, it was cleared up in about 40 minutes. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Today Norton Police detectives received information as to the location of Ramon Felix, who is wanted for the robbery of Mansfield Bank in Norton on April 20. Based on the investigation and new information, Detective Lieutenant Thomas Petersen Jr. and Detective James Franco located Felix at a drug rehabilitation center in Brockton. Felix was placed under arrest in Brockton and transported to Norton Police Department. A total of four outstanding arrest warrants were active for Felix; one each for Norton, Newburyport, Wakefield and the Quincy District Court Probation Department. Felix is being held without bail at the Norton Police Department and will be arraigned Monday morning at the Attleboro District Court. The detectives were assisted …

Warrant out for Ramon Felix of Quincy.
Norton Police Detectives have identified the Mansfield Bank robbery suspect as Ramon Felix, 27, of Quincy. Felix is a hispanic black male born Oct. 17, 1984. He is 5’5,” 190 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He has a large blue Boston Red Sox “B” tattoo on right wrist. The robbery occored at Mansfield Bank on W. Main Street at about 6 p.m. April 21. The bank employee reported to Norton Police Department that a male entered the bank and approached a teller, handed her a note requesting money and stating that he had a weapon. Norton Police Department released a photo today of the suspect connected to the Mansfield Bank robbery that took place April 20. The man entered the bank and handed the teller a note requesting money and stating that he had a weapon. No weapon was shown to the teller. The male then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police ask people to take note of the Boston Red Sox tattoo on his right wrist. The photo is also on Mass Most Wanted website. The Mass Most Wanted TIP Program states that a citizen who provides information that leads to the identification and arrest of a Massachusetts bank robber may be eligible to receive money sponsored by the Massachusetts Bankers Association. The bank employee reported to Norton Police Department that a male entered the bank and approached a teller, handed her a note requesting money and stating that he had a weapon. No weapon was shown to the teller. The male then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt in the incident. No further information is available at this time. The incident is under investigation by Det. Lt. thomas Petersen Jr.

The Mansfield Bank Charitable Foundation donated $5,000 to Old Colony Habitat for Humanity Monday, to support the construction of a new home in Norton. "It is exciting to watch a home come into being so quickly and with the support of so many," said Joseph Parisi of Mansfield Bank. " We have been thrilled to help." The three-bedroom, home supported by Mansfield Bank, is within the Reservoir Road neighborhood of Norton, and will house a young family of five. A non-profit organization dedicated to building affordable housing for families in need, Old Colony Habitat for Humanity services 12 communities in the area.
