Though West is shy at first, she is also friendly and playful. She has tested negative for FIV. Nine Lives of Norton is an all-volunteer, non-profit feline rescue shelter. Elwin is approximately 12 weeks old and is FIV and FELV negative. He is the last in his litter to find a home. Jean Harnden, director of the Nine Lives of Norton Feline Rescue Shelter suspects that he has been left behind because of the negative connotations of black cats.
