Kathleen M. Petersen, 63, of Norton, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012.
Kathleen M. (Graney) Petersen, 63, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away surrounded by her loving family, Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of Thomas J. Petersen Sr. to whom she was wed Sept. 6, 1969. Born in Attleboro Feb. 17, 1949, she was daughter of the late Edward C. Sr. and Lorraine A. (Hall) Graney. Kathy grew up in Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School. Prior to retiring, she had been employed for 19 years as a secretary for the Town of Norton in the Assessors Department. A lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton, Mrs. Petersen enjoyed raising her family and was extremely proud of her children. She especially treasured the times spent with her adoring …
