Norton Parents Get Special Delivery on 12/12/12 When Erin Fisher went into labor Dec. 12, she expected it to go well into the next day. Newborn Wesley Scott Fisher was determined to make his birthday an extra special day, however, arriving at exactly 12:12 p.m. Dec. 12, 2012. “We are both doing very well and are going home today,” Erin said. Norton Police Arrest Hit and Run Motorist

The following information was supplied by Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

At 5:30 p.m. Monday, Norton Police responded to a report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash that occurred at 25 W. Main St.  A witness informed the police dispatcher that a vehicle with no headlights almost struck her vehicle, then rear ended another vehicle before it fled the scene. The witness was able to give a description and direction of travel of the suspect vehicle, and followed the vehicle until police arrived.  Norton Patrolman Kevin Schleicher Jr. stopped the suspect vehicle, operated by Jean Bernier, 71, of Mansfield Avenue, Norton, on Reservoir Street in the area of Arrow Road.
