The majority of the municipal wastewater that’s collected in Norton is sent to the Mansfield Wastewater Treatment Facility, which is actually located at the intersection of Crane and Hill Street in Norton. Some are connected to the Taunton Wastewater Treatment Facility. There is also a treatment plant at Norton Middle School, which Norton High and Yelle School were recently connected to. “The comprehensive plan is really looking at where other …

The Lancers are now 1-1 after losing 4-1 to the Warriors.
This time last year, the Norton Lancers had no problem putting away the Foxborough Warriors boys' tennis team with a 4-1 victory against their foe out of the Hockomock League. A year later, the tables have turned as the Warriors beat the Lancers 4-1 behind an impressive performance by their singles players. Things looked rough from the beginning for the Lancers after first singles player P.J. Levesque was forced to play with a broken racket against Foxborough's Wes Young. After falling 2-6 to Young, Levesque almost rallied back in the second set but couldn't get past Young, losing 4-6. "If PJ's racket didn't break, I think it would of been a different story. But he played hard and the other kid was very good," Norton coach Eric Bradford …
