Edward P. McCarron, 72, of Norton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Judith A. (LaRosee) McCarron. Born in Boston Jan. 29, 1940, he was son of the late Joseph A. and Helen (Nee) McCarron and the late Margaret M. (Ponzo) McCarron. Ed spent his early childhood living in South Boston. His family later moved to Taunton and then to Norton where he has made his home for over 50 years. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy aboard the USS Forrestal. He was honorably discharged from the service on Jan. 9, 1961 with the rank of machinist’s mate fireman.
