Founders Day 2013 Picnic Plans Underway in Norton
Norton Selectmen discuss the current plan for the 2013 Founders Day Celebration.
The Norton Board of Selectmen talked with William Lippincott on Thursday concerning the current stage of the 2013 Norton Founders Day Picnic. Lippincott said they will be meeting at the VFW on Feb 11 at 7 p.m. to discuss planning strategies. “There’s a core of us that are going to go forward,” he said. “If anyone in the community wants to be involved just come on down on Monday.” Lippincott said that the event will be similar to last year’s celebration in terms of format. He said there is one aspect of the event that will not be returning this year. “I will not be in the dunk tank again,” he said.
