Obituary: Donald Thomas
Father of Norton resident Robin Haygood.
Donald C. Thomas, 90, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mr. Thomas was the husband of the late Virginia (Wegeler) Thomas. Born and raised in Roxbury, he was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School. Donald was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a patrolman for the Boston Police Department for over 40 years. After his retirement, he worked in the Distribution Warehouse for Reebok in Stoughton for over 15 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Boston Police Patrolmans Union. He is survived by his children George C. Thomas of Canton, Donna J. Thomas of Stoughton, Timothy J. Thomas of Whitman and Robin T.
