Lyons lose 57-49 in Cheryl Warren-Powers '95 Memorial Tournament
The Wheaton College women's basketball team was dealt a 57-49 loss by Oneonta State in non-conference action in the championship game of the Cheryl Warren-Powers '95 Memorial Tournament on Sunday afternoon at Emerson Gymnasium. Junior guard Melissa McLaughlin (Spindale, N.C./R-S Central) earned All-Tournament Team accolades for the Lyons scoring seven points, grabbing four boards (all offensive) and one steal. In the first round of the tournament, McLaughlin notched five points, six assists, three rebounds and one steal in Wheaton's 70-30 victory over Lesley University.
