Station Fire 10th Anniversary Web Documentary Premieres Wednesday
Looking back on the victims of the tragedy, including Norton resident Carlton Howarth III.
Wednesday marked the 10th year since The Station nightclub fire, where Norton resident Carlton Howarth III was among the 100 victims of the 2003 tragedy. Howarth, 39, was an information technology support specialist for CIBER Inc. in Woburn. According to Boston.com, Howarth was able to free his girlfriend, Donna Reis of Scituate, R.I., from the crush of people which allowed her to crawl to safety. In remembrance of the tragedy, the first episode in a new seven-part documentary web series, “The Station,” also referred to as “The Station Movie,” premiered on Wednesday, Feb. 20, on the anniversary of the fire, the fourth deadliest fire in the nation’s history.
