Don’t pay full price when you go out!
I’m lucky if we go out to eat once or twice a month, and to the movies once a year (I’m not kidding). Although you SHOULD have a date night with your sweetie once a week, that doesn’t seem to happen in our house. When we DO go out, we go with coupons or certificates in hand to save a bundle. I always ask for restaurant gift certificates for presents – that way I get out of the kitchen! Last week we went to 99 Restaurant & Pub to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. I mentioned to the manager and the waitress that we were celebrating, and when it was time for desert, they brought out a nice hot fudge sundae with a candle and sang to her. No Charge!
