Norton Honor Guard to Present Colors During Bruins Playoff Game

Ceremony to take place during National Anthem.

As the Boston Bruins will take on the Washington Capital’s Saturday, the playoff game will be even more special for the Norton Police Honor Guard who was selected to present the colors during the National Anthem. “We really lucked out in that we sent a letter offering our services, hoping to get a game this year or more likely next,” said Norton Police Sergeant Jacob Dennett. “As it turned out [they] were just beginning booking for the playoffs and it worked out.” Dennett will join Norton Police Honor Guard members Pat Mahoney, Dave Schepis and Charles Turcotte. “It’s the first time we've ever done a Bruins game, nevermind a playoff game,” Dennett said. The puck will hit the ice 3 p.m. in Game 2 of the opening round of the Stanley Cup …
