Norton Animal Shelter Pet of the Week: Bear

Weekly feature comes back with Bear, a gentle giant.

Norton Animal Shelter, located just behind Nine Lives at 84 Hill St., has cats and dogs up for adoption. This week, Norton Patch will feature Bear. Bear is a 3 1/2 old chocolate labradore. Weighing in at approximately 93 pounds, Bear is a true gentle giant who loves to play. Despite missing one eye that was surgically removed, nothing slows Bear down. To visit Bear, stop by the shelter Monday through Friday, 3 to 5 p.m. or call the shelter at 508-286-2655.
