Welcome to Norton Patch! I'm Kelly Mello, editor of Norton Patch. Ever since I was young enough to imagine and old enough to learn my penmanship, I've enjoyed writing. When I graduated from UMass Dartmouth with a bachelor degree in English, rhetoric and communications, I aimed to make writing my profession. I started off writing for Associated Content and Helium.com until I got my break into the journalism field with GateHouse Media about three and a half years ago. doing a little of everything, from ordering office supplies to flying a Cessna plane for a video feature story.
