Norton Parents Get Special Delivery on 12/12/12

Wesley Fisher was born to Erin and Scott Fisher Dec. 12, 2012 at 12:12 p.m.

When Erin Fisher went into labor Dec. 12, she expected it to go well into the next day. Newborn Wesley Scott Fisher was determined to make his birthday an extra special day, however, arriving at exactly 12:12 p.m. Dec. 12, 2012. “We are both doing very well and are going home today,” Erin said. She has lived in Norton for the past five years with her husband Scott. Erin originally comes from Rehoboth while Scott is a Dighton native. They are both 31 years old. Erin went to the hospital at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday and gave birth to Wesley almost six hours later. Her original due date was Dec. 18. Pregnant Woman in Route 24 Crash Gives Birth

Stephanie Rogers gives birth to Jasmine, a healthy baby girl.

The Route 24 rollover that claimed the life of 12-year-old Angel Pina also induced the labor of passenger Stephanie Rogers, who was 8 months pregnant, according to Channel 5 news. Rogers, who was the only one wearing a seatbelt, gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Jasmine.  "Stephanie and Jasmine are doing well," said William Rogers is the brother of Stephanie and cousin to Sandra and Angel on the Norton Patch Facebook page. "Thank you all for you prayers and support." The three victims in Thursday's single car rollover crash on Route 24 northbound on the Stoughton/Avon line are from Norton, according to Trooper Todd Nolan, a spokesperson for the Massachusetts State Police.
