All-American Football Honors for Norton's Schwieger
Norton resident Nick Schwieger was named to the Associated Press third team All-American in Football Championship Subdivision.
FROM DARTMOUTH COLLEGE Fitting that a stellar football career should be concluded with a stellar honor. Dartmouth senior running back Nick Schwieger was named by the Associated Press as a member of its Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-America Third Team on Thursday afternoon. The Big Green’s all-time leading rusher is the first Dartmouth player to be chosen an All-American since return specialist Shawn Abuhoff last year by the Sports Network and Phil Steele, while tight end Casey Cramer was the most recent AP All-American for Dartmouth in 2002 when he was named to the second team.
