No injuries reported. 6:59 a.m. Caller reported a vehicle slid into the snow bank on Newland Street. No injuries were reported. 7:37 a.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on East Main Street. No injuries were reported. 9:15 a.m. Caller reported a hit and run on Sunset Road. He said his vehicle had been sideswiped. 2:48 p.m. Caller reported a head on collision between a snowplow and a vehicle. One patient was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. The latest logs are scheduled to run on Norton Patch later this week. Saturday, Dec. 15 12:32 a.m.: N. Washington Street, harassment/threats. Caller reports receiving phone threats from a relative. 1:01 a.m.: Mansfield Avenue, breaking and entering of a residence. Female reports she is in Attleboro and her boyfriend texted her that there was a possible breaking and entering into residence. Boyfriend reports he is in back room of a mobile home with child.  Caller reports door was locked heard foot steps and the front door was now open. Patrolman Schepis reports unit checks clear. Tuesday, Jan. 1 8:49 p.m. Luis Texidor, 47, of 132 Lynn Road in Brockton was arrested for his second offense of operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Wednesday, Jan. 2 9:25 p.m. Jeffrey Monat, 45, of 287 W. Main St. was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Thursday, Jan. 4 2:40 a.m. Two mailboxes on Downing Drive were vandalized. 1:59 p.m. Caller reported someone had smashed the windshield of her vehicle while it was parked on West Main Street.

Spare change and sunglasses were taken. 10:33 a.m.: Norton Glen Road. Police arrested Christopher A. Cunniff, 26, of Norton Glen Road, and charged him with four counts of breaking and entering at nighttime for a felony, more than $250 in larceny, three counts of receiving less than $250 in stolen property and fugitive from justice on court warrant. 11:21 a.m.: Jacob’s Way, domestic disturbance. 3:46 p.m.: Ledge Road, larceny. Norton Police Arrest Hit and Run Motorist

The following information was supplied by Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

At 5:30 p.m. Monday, Norton Police responded to a report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash that occurred at 25 W. Main St.  A witness informed the police dispatcher that a vehicle with no headlights almost struck her vehicle, then rear ended another vehicle before it fled the scene. The witness was able to give a description and direction of travel of the suspect vehicle, and followed the vehicle until police arrived.  Norton Patrolman Kevin Schleicher Jr. stopped the suspect vehicle, operated by Jean Bernier, 71, of Mansfield Avenue, Norton, on Reservoir Street in the area of Arrow Road. Bernier was placed under arrest at the scene.  Bernier is charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol (second offense…
