Teens Allegedly Held at Knifepoint at Stoughton's Skate Park Stoughton Police responded to the Stoughton skate park, located behind the stands of the Stoughton High football field and across from the O'Donnell Middle School, at 5:04 p.m. on April 13 for a report of stolen bikes. Police found that two teen victims were allegedly threatened at knifepoint for the two bikes by the two 17-year-old perpetrators, according to the SPD Facebook page.  Both perpetrators were arrested. Rockland Man Arrested for Breaking and Entering

At 1:30 a.m. today, a Rockland man was arrested for breaking into a Norton resident's shed on Agorista Lane. Norton Police received a call from the resident stating that someone was breaking into a shed in his back yard. The caller stated he observed two individuals, wearing black hooded sweatshirts and carrying flashlights, entering his shed and carrying items to a vehicle parked on the street.  Patrolman Patrick Mahoney arrived on scene and observed one subject matching that description standing at the rear of a vehicle parked on Agorista Lane. After a brief encounter, the subject, Matthew Shea, 26, of Hingham Street, Rockland, was placed under arrest.  Stolen items identified by the resident were recovered from the vehicle. Police were …

Attleboro Duo Tries to Remove Piping, Wiring from Campbell House

On Friday, Norton police arrested two subjects at the Campbell House who were attempting to remove piping and wires from the historic site. At 12:38 p.m. March 9, Detective Jeffrey Zaccardi observed a suspicious looking male and female on the property of 217 West Main St., known as the Campbell house in front of the Norton Middle School. Patrolman Scott Sweeting and Patrolman David Ruskey responded to assist Zaccardi. Officers noticed a door to the house to be open and searched the vacant building. Officers encountered the pair in the building and placed them under arrest. Officers discovered that the two were attempting to remove copper piping and electrical wires from the building. Driver Arrested After Allegedly Trying to Run Down Ex-Boyfriend

Norton man says his ex-girlfriend attempted to run him over.

A Norton woman was arrested Wednesday morning after she allegedly tried to strike her ex-boyfriend, who was on foot, with her vehicle. Vanessa Townsend, 37, of Hull, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon and transported to Taunton District Court after police received several 911 reporting that a female motorist in a grey Toyota was trying to run down a male pedestrian in the intersection of Eastman and Foundry Streets in Easton, Police Chief Allen Krajcik said. Police responded to the scene and found her ex-boyfriend, Luis Vicente, 45, of Norton at Bank of Easton. Norton Man Arrested for Assaulting 14-Year Old, Manufacturing Child Pornography

On Jan. 5, Norton and Easton Police and members of the Massachusetts State Police arrested 50-year-old Joseph Lucier for charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and two counts of manufacturing child pornography. Lucier, of 150 S. Washington St., Norton was taken under arrest at his home. Lucier had previously been charged in May 2010 with possession of child pornography. A search warrant was also conducted and computer equipment was seized at that time. A forensic examination of Lucier's computer revealed additional child pornography in his possession and evidence of indecent interaction with a child. Attleboro and Norton Police Set Up Perimeter; Searching for Wanted Man

Police are searching for a white male with brown hair and brown eyes after he was found running around his neighborhood naked.

Attleboro Police and Norton Police have set up a permiter in the Pleasant Street area and are looking for a white male, 180 pounds, 6' 3" wearing all black. Police sought a warrant for the Attleboro resident's arrest after he was found running around his neighborhood along Forest and Perrin streets without any clothes. The Attleboro resident was observed around 1:30 p.m. today running around his neighborhood naked, according to Attleboro Police Lt. Scott Killough. Police attempted to apprehend the man but lost him. Police now have a warrant for his arrest based on charges of open and gross lewdness and disturbing the peace. "We've called in mutual aid in Norton," Killough said. Norton Man Arrested for Pinning Family Member Between Two Vehicles

Norton Police are charging Eric Dumont, 33, of 47 N. Worcester St. with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (vehicle), leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury and negligent operation of a motor vehicle after a crash on N. Worcester Street early Sunday morning. He was held on $2,500 cash bail. At 6:11 a.m., Norton police said they responded to a motor vehicle accident on North Worcester Street where a pick-up truck hit a utility pole. According to the police, Dumont fled after a domestic disturbance at his home in which he pinned a family member between a truck and another vehicle. Bridgewater Man Arrested for Possession of Marijuana in a School Zone

At approximately 4:45 p.m. Friday, a male identified as Justin Thompson, 20, of Bridgewater, was placed under arrest in the parking lot of North Easton Savings Bank, 25 W. Main St., Norton.  Thompson was charged with possession of a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute within a school zone. Detective James Franco encountered a vehicle in the parking lot of the bank and observed two suspicious males sitting in the vehicle.  Det. Franco approached the vehicle and observed Thompson, the operator, holding a box containing what appeared to be marijuana and a large amount of cash.  Other items consistent with distribution of marijuana were also discovered, and Thompson was placed under arrest.  The other male passenger was not…

Drunk Driver Found Asleep at Easton Intersection

A Norton man was arrested by Easton Police Tuesday night for his third offense of drunk driving.

A Norton man was arrested Tuesday night after he was found asleep at the intersection of Eastman Street and Foundry Street (routes 106 and 123) near Hannaford Supermarkets. John J. Flynn, 69, of Kensington Road, Norton was arrested for his third offense of drunk driving after a caller reported the incident and removed his key from Flynn's Saab before waking him. Easton Officers Keith Boone and Robert Tuohy made the arrest. Police said the incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. and Flynn was held on $1,000 bail overnight.
