Alda Dufresne, 85, of Norton, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012.
Alda T. (Teixeira) Dufresne, 85, of Norton, died at her residence surrounded by her family Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. She was the wife of Joseph E. Dufresne Sr., whom she married on July 21, 1951 at the former St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Norton. Born April 16, 1927, she was daughter of the late Francisco J. and Jullianne (Roccio) Teixeira. She was a lifelong resident of Norton and was a graduate of Norton High School. Prior to her retirement in 1985, Mrs. Dufresne was employed at various local companies including the Foxboro Company, Sannie's Clothing Store in Mansfield, Texas Instruments for 13 years and for several years at the House in the Pines for Girls in Norton.
