Special Olympics Jolly Jaunt 5K

Get into the Spirit this Holiday Season! 

Join us for a day of fun, friendship and family – with a lot of good food - benefiting your local Special Olympics athletes! This 5K has the flattest course around and is USATF Certified. 

  • T-shirts and lunch guaranteed to the first 300 participants at $35/registration fee. $40 for day-of registration. 
  • The after-event party includes a silent auction, raffle and other great prizes!

    provided by your favorite local restaurants: Olive Garden, Ruby
    Tuesdays, Stone Forge, Chili's, Longhorn Steakhouse and more!

La Salette 5K or 10K Walk

When?
Saturday, 11 a.m.

Where?
 National Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette , Park Street

Details?

Walker's are invited to participate in either a 5km or 10km (3.1 or 6.2 mile) walk sponsored by the Walk'n Mass Volkssport Club. Registration is from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., finish by 5 p.m. These walks are noncompetitive, follow a marked route and are accomplished at your own pace. Anyone may participate regardless of age or physical fitness. These walks are free to the public.
The 10km route commences at the shrine and goes through a short path in woods then on to paved road and sidewalks. The 5km route requires a short drive to the Attleboro Industrial Museum where the trail begins. 
The walk routes traverse town streets passing many historic sites and homes. Both walk routes pass the Capron Zoo, are on paved sidewalks and a relatively flat unpaved walk path, suitable for strollers but not for wheelchairs.Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not allowed in the Capron Zoo. Leashed pets are welcome on the walk and clean-up laws apply. 
Stay for the the shrine's spectacular "Festival of Lights".

Kidgits Winter Carnival

On Saturday, December 7th guests can come in from the cold and delight in the  warmth of the season. Emerald Square Mall will be spreading holiday cheer at the Kidgits Winter Carnival!

Emerald Square Mall is hosting Caring Santa, a time for families with special needs children to have a calm, sensory-friendly environment to visit Santa and have a photo experience.

Wheaton Chorale and Chamber Singers Present Vespers


When?
Sunday, 7:30 p.m.

Where?
Cole Memorial Chapel, Wheaton College

Details:
The Wheaton Chorale, under the direction of Associate Professor of Music Tim Harbold, continues a Wheaton tradition, singing carols and other music from a wide variety of cultures and traditions. The concert is free to the public but donations are gratefully accepted.
