1. There is a 70 percent chance of showers today, mainly after 8 a.m. Areas of fog before 2 p.m. are also expected, otherwise, it will be cloudy, with a high near 59. Southwest wind will be between 7 and 13 mph. There is a 60 percent chance of showers tonight as well, with areas of fog after 10 p.m. There will be a low of around 39.

2. At today, join the children’s librarian for songs, stories, rhymes, and wiggles in the Loosey Goosey program at 10:30 a.m. This event is open to babies age “new” to 2.
                                                 
3. At 3:30 p.m., there will be winter crafts for ages 5 and older at Mansfield Public Library, 255 Hope St. Younger children are also allowed with adult help. No pre-registration is required.

4. Norton residents gathered Sunday, Dec. 4 for the annual Festival of Lights in Norton Town Common. Norton Singers and Timothy Brown sang Christmas carols to spread the holiday cheer. To view video scenes from the evening, click .

5. Students in grades one through six have been working on a Christmas program entitled "The Light Before Christmas." For a preview of the musical, tune in at 11 a.m.
