Wheaton College sophomore Dominic Ziolek (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) posted a pair of first place finishes to help the men's swimming and diving team record a 142-85 win against Trinity College on Saturday afternoon at the Trinity Natatorium.
Ziolek won the 1,000-yard freestyle in ten minutes and 41.64-seconds and led a sweep of the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:23.72. Freshman Jeremy Zak (Clifton, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) placed second (2:24.73) while junior Alex Garneau(Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) finished third overall with a time of 2:38.31 in the event.
In the 200 individual medley, sophomore Nick Fredette (Stoneham, Mass./Stoneham) ranked second overall in 2:05.30. Zak placed third with a time of 2:08.18.

Fredette also placed first overall in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:08.54 and teamed up with freshman Daniel Spencer (North Yarmouth, Maine/Greely), junior Sam Jackson (Darien, Conn./Darien) and senior Sam Neill (Ludlow, Mass./Belchertown) in the 400-yard freestyle relay for first place overall with a total time of 3:22.28.
In the 400-yard medley relay, Spencer and Neill joined up with sophomore Richard Jenkins (Bow, N.H./Bow) and classmate Corey Hedges(Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) to claim top honors in the event in 3:49.61.

Individually, Spencer finished first overall in the 100-yard freestyle in 50.38-seconds while Neill was first overall in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.92-seconds.
Jenkins ranked second overall in the 200-yard freestyle event with a time of 1:49.26. Junior Kyle Wilson (Cumberland, Maine/Greely)checked in at third overall (1:54.14) and freshman Christian Tinory (Attleboro, Mass./Bishop Feehan) came in fourth overall (1:54.93). Tinory also placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.02) and 200-yard butterfly (2:12.25).
In the 200-yard backstroke, Jenkins was second overall in 2:06.47 while Jackson placed third overall (2:09.17) and Wilson finished fourth overall (2:10.92).
Sophomore Ben Oliveri (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) took first place in both diving events with a score of 238.79 in the one-meter dive and 204.97 in the three-meter dive.
Wheaton hosts Babson College Friday, Jan. 18 in the Balfour Natatorium at 7 p.m.
