Sean Finn Named to NEWMAC Academic All-Conference List
Junior collects third career academic award, first NEWMAC honor.
Wheaton College men’s lacrosse junior midfielder Sean Finn (Kennebunk, Maine/Kennebunk) has been named to the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference list.
Finn collected NEWMAC Academic All-Conference accolades for having met the following the criteria: earned a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2013 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at his institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
A history major with a minor in philosophy, Finn currently boasts a 3.65 GPA in addition to claiming multiple Dean’s List selections and Wheaton Scholar-Athlete honors during his time at the College. Finn also is a two-time Pilgrim League All-Academic selection for having earned a 3.25 GPA or above. Wheaton recently transitioned from the Pilgrim League to the NEWMAC this season.
